Buhari Signs Revised 2020 Budget Into Law

Nigeria’s Federal Government has declared Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th of August as public holidays to mark the 2019 Eid-il-Kabir celebrations.

Eye9ja understands that the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Barr. Georgina Ekeoma Ehuriah declared the Public Holiday in a statement obtained on Tuesday.

In the statement on the Tuesday and Wednesday’s Public Holidays, she congratulated the Muslim faithfuls on the occasion and urged all Nigerians at home and in diaspora to use the period of this year’s Eid-il-Kabir celebration to embrace the virtues of love, humility, peace and sacrifice as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Mohammed (Pbuh)”.
