Three final year Law students and undergraduates of the Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Kaduna State, have regained freedom from their abductors.
Eye9ja understands that the kidnapped ABU students regained their freedom in about two days after they were a whisked away by their abductors along the Abuja-Kaduna highway on Monday.
The release of the kidnapped ABU students was confirmed in a statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Yakubu Sabo, on Wednesday.
Recall that the incident took place when gunmen blocked the high way, intercepted vehicles before disappearing with the victims.
While confirming the release of the students, the Kaduna state Police Command, however, said that four other persons were still being held by the kidnappers.
