Eye9ja reports that the worshipers’ presence at the Aso Villa comes amidst speculations that President Buhari is set to marry a second wife, with Farouq’s name mentioned as the second wife in the picture.
This online news platform had reported the reaction of the presidency, debunking the reports on the wedding.
However, in anticipation of the wedding, worshippers stormed the Presidential Villa Mosque where President Buhari observed the weekly two raka’at jumaat prayer.
This online news platform understands that Presidential aides, some cabinet ministers and former governor of Zamfara, Abdulaziz Yari as well as Senator Kabir Gaya were among those that joined President Buhari at the Jumaat prayer.
Eye9ja gathered that Jumaat prayer, however, witnessed an unprecedented number of faithful, who stormed the Villa mosque to confirm the authenticity or otherwise of the social media reports that had been making the rounds since Thursday, October 10.
However, the wedding did not hold at the Presidential Villa on Friday as speculated in some quarters, as the Presidency had through the Special Adviser on Media and publicity, Femi Adesina, quashed the rumour that went viral on the social media, describing it as “false.”
