National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has bagged a new honorary degree from the Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida University, Lapai, in Niger state.

Eye9ja understands that the former Osun state Governor and Nigeria’s Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola made this known in one of his tweet obtained by this news platform on Sunday.

In the tweet, Aregbesola who shared a photo of him, the national leader and two other dignitaries, congratulated the APC’s national leader as he receives his honorary award.

In his tweet, Aregbesola wrote; “I congratulate our National Leader in the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for another well-deserved Honorary Degree from the Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida University, Lapai, Niger State.”

This comes after Eye9ja reported that former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, on Saturday met with the former governor of Lagos state and national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

Eye9ja reports that the leaders met in Minna, the Niger State capital.

Atiku was the presidential candidate of Nigeria’s main opposition, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) while Tinubu is the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the ruling party.
