The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on Saturday paid a visit to Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church, amidst reports saying the Lagos office of the United States (US) Embassy denied the later its Visa.
Eye9ja reports that the RCCG G.O. met Oyedepo in Cannanland, Ota, Ogun State, headquarters of the Winners Chapel in just hours after Oyedepo had via his spokesman said that his application for the US Visa was never rejected.
Sharing a photo of him and Oyedepo, Adeboye wrote: “We are pressured in every way [hedged in], but not crushed; perplexed [unsure of finding a way out], but not driven to despair; hunted down and persecuted, but not deserted [to stand alone]; struck down, but never destroyed; always carrying around in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be shown in our body.
“For we who live are constantly [experiencing the threat of] being handed over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be evidenced in our mortal body [which is subject to death].”
Similarly, the United States Embassy had debunked reports that it denied Bishop David Oyedepo a travel visa.
Recall that the report had suggested that Bishop Oyedepo was denied the Visa because he failed to meet up with the standard default visa renewal in its assessment and urged him to try again.
However, US Mission Nigeria a few moments ago alerted the general public by debunking the rumour going around about denying the man of God a Visa.
