Yobo Gets New Appointment As Super Eagles Assistant Coach
Joseph Yobo

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed Joseph Yobo as Super Eagles’ Assistant Coach, Eye9ja reports.

Eye9ja reports that with the new appointment Yobe replaces Imama Amapakabo who was standing in for Salisu Yusuf.

Eye9ja recalls that the former Enyimba and Kano Pillars coach was found guilty of receiving an amount of money reported to be around $1000.

Yusuf was caught collecting money to influence his team’s selection for the 2017 WAFU Cup in Ghana.

The NFF Ethics Committee sanctioned him with a fine of $5000 and a one-year ban from football-related activities.
