Nnamdi Kanu’s Parents Burial
The Nigerian Police has denied reports making the rounds but not on Eye9ja, that it arrested forty (40) persons during the burial rites of the parents of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
Eye9ja reports that the Police while debunking the arrest said it only arrested four persons with guns in Umuahia around the busy Okpara Square through the efforts of its officers on duty in the area.
This was made known by the Abia state Commissioner of Police, Ene Okon, when contacted to make comments on the alleged arrest of 40 IPOB members, made by the Nigerian Army; an allegation that the Nigerian Army has also denied.
While speaking further, the arrested four suspects said there was nothing to identify the suspects as IPOB members, unless IPOB is claiming that they were their members
