The Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai, says the Nigerian Army will uphold thoroughness in its recruitment processes to ensure that only qualified persons are recruited.
Buratai made the remarks during the final screening for 80 regular recruits at Falgore forest training camp on Monday in Kano State.

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested 43 clubbers including strippers around Eclipse Night Club, Ligali Ayorinde Street, Victoria Island axis.
Police spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi made this known in a statement on Monday.
7. COVID-19: Lecturers Can’t Ensure Social Distancing In Crowded Classes -ASUU
The National President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi on Tuesday said the union cannot guarantee social distancing in crowded classes and congested hostels in a bid to tame the spike in coronavirus (COVID-19) infections across the states.
Ogunyemi, however, said the safety of university lecturers and students is a priority, but the union is also worried that university professors are dying of COVID-19 infections.
8. Why Buhari Has Not Sacked Service Chiefs
The Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and publicity, Garba Shehu has explained why the president is yet to fire his service chiefs despite calls by several Nigerians.
Shehu who stated the reason while appearing on TVC on Monday explained that the President had not sacked the service chiefs because he was seeing what other Nigerians do not see at the moment.

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the former Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha has called for a new political alliance with people of like minds to rescue Nigeria from its present predicaments.
