Buratai made the remarks during the final screening for 80 regular recruits at Falgore forest training camp on Monday in Kano State.

7. COVID-19: Lecturers Can’t Ensure Social Distancing In Crowded Classes -ASUU

The National President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi on Tuesday said the union cannot guarantee social distancing in crowded classes and congested hostels in a bid to tame the spike in coronavirus (COVID-19) infections across the states.

Ogunyemi, however, said the safety of university lecturers and students is a priority, but the union is also worried that university professors are dying of COVID-19 infections.
