Nigerian Human Rights lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Femi Falana, has said that there is no provision for the extension of office for the Inspector General of Police (IGP) in the new Police Act 2020.

Bolatito Rinu Oduala, one of the front liners of the #EndSARS protests, has made known her intention to sue the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for unlawfully freezing her bank accounts for over three months without investigation.
The court had ordered that the bank accounts of alleged #EndSARS promoters be frozen following an ex-parte application brought before it by the CBN weeks after the protest.
