The Immediate past Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha has been arrested.
According to the police, the former governor, currently, the senator representing Imo West Senatorial district, was taken into custody to explain why he led a mob to break into the government sealed Royal Palm Spring Estate along Akachi Road, Owerri, the state capital.

Controversial media personality, Ifedayo Lucian Olarinde, popularly known as ‘Daddy Freeze’ has thrown his weight behind Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko, saying the actress should not be criticized for her choice of fashion.

3. Air Force Jet Crashes In Abuja, Six Feared Dead
Six persons are feared dead in an Air Force jet crash that happened in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja on Sunday.
The Officials of the Federal Ministry of Aviation said the Boeing 350 jet had reported engine failure at about 10.39 am before the crash.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has returned N420,000 cash found at an auto crash site at Akinfosile, along Lagos-Ore expressway, Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, to the family of the deceased.
Unit Commander in Ore, Olusegun Aladenika, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Ore.

The Federal Government has said that Nigeria may get COVID-19 vaccines in 10 days.
This was disclosed through the Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire in Lagos on Saturday at the end of his inspection tour of the Lagos University Hospital, Idi-Araba.
