The value of trades recorded on Tuesday was N3,845,103,251.25 with the All-Share Index of 40,164.86 a decrease of 0.03% () over Monday’s value of 40,154.09.

Hope Uzodinma, the Governor of Imo State says he is not willing to negotiate with the controversial Eastern Security Network (ESN) because they are faceless.
Speaking with State House correspondents after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, Uzodinma explained that his decision to invite the military was to douse the uprising in Orlu district, adding that his action was precautionary, especially with the experience and the destructions that followed the 2020 #EndSARS protests.

An apex Igbo socio-cultural group in Nigeria, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has bemoaned the use of what it says is excessive force by the Nigerian military in trying to dislodge men of the controversial Eastern Security Network (ESN), from forests in Orlu town in Imo State.
The President-General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Prof. George Obiozor, who spoke while visiting the traditional ruler of Amaifeke in Orlu, His Royal Majesty, Eze Dr E. C Okeke, on Monday, frowned at the tension in the area, adding that if it is allowed to get out of hand, it could lead to a national catastrophe.

The Lagos State Judicial Panel of Restitution and Inquiry, which was set up to investigate cases of police brutality, more particularly focused on officers of the now-defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), has summoned the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammad Adamu.
The IGP was summoned over a case involving one Adewale Adewuyi, a petitioner whose 26 acres of farmland was allegedly seized by police since 2013.
