3. N-Power Batch C: Buhari’s Minister Whose Ministry ‘Chopped’ N2 Billion Fund Meant For Nigerian Youths Speaks on New Portal

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Sadiya Umar Farouq says the next batch of N-Power beneficiaries (Batch C) will be administered through the National Social Investment and Information Management System NASIMS to ensure transparency.

Farouq made this known on Thursday in Abuja at the launch of the system, developed to optimize and complement the structural reforms of Social Investment Programs and other activities of the ministry.

The Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, says AstraZeneca vaccine recently inaugurated and distributed to states to treat COVID-19 has no side effect.

Adeyeye, who stated this on Thursday in Abuja, shortly after she got vaccinated, said that NAFDAC went through the application dossier of the vaccine before it was approved to be administered on Nigerians against COVID-19.
