JAMB Registrar Speaks On Split of Nigerian Universities

The Registrar, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, has advised against the fragmentation of universities into enclaves of respective Ministries, Departments and Agencies of government.

Oloyede made this observation during a public hearing organised by the House Committee on Health on the establishment of the universities of health and medical sciences.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says it has concluded all arrangements to roll out the sale of the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) application documents.

JAMB in its weekly bulletin sent to AllNews on Monday stated that the dates for the sale of the documents, the conduct of mock examination, and the UTME will be announced latest on Wednesday, 24th March 2021

Some of the claims attribute the UTME 2021 registration date to Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, the Registrar of JAMB.
