Insecurity: Buhari Regrets Land Border Closure Didn’t Stop Free Flow of Arms And Ammunitions
President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday said he regretted that despite his government’s closure of Nigeria’s land borders, arms and ammunition continues to flow into the country illegally.
Buhari stated this when he received the outgoing Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel, Mohammed Ibn Chambas at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Backs Asari-Dokubo’s Declaration Of Biafra
Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) backs the formation of the Biafra Government as canvassed by the former Niger Delta warlord Mujahid Asari Dokubo saying it is not a threat to IPOB.

Police To Arraign Man For Stabbing Ikeja Electric Staff
One Saheed Olarenwaju, who allegedly stabbed a staff of Ikeja Electric (IE), Mr. Olakunle Popoola, with a broken bottle, will be arraigned before an Ogba Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

Senate Summons AuGF Over Unaudited Immigration’s Account
The Auditor-General of the Federation (AuGF), Aghughu Arhotomhenia has been summoned by the Nigerian Senate over the non-audit of the financial records of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) in the last five years.
Arhotomhenia is to appear before the Senate Committee on Finance next Tuesday to give reasons why he refused to give guidelines for the auditing of the accounts of the NIS since 2017 despite several reminder letters from the NIS to this effect.
