On Monday, 8 March 2021, the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)-linked Eastern Security Network (ESN) militia claimed in a Press Release assented to by its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, that its members have captured a notorious leader of a gang of Fulani bandits, identified as Mohammed Isa.

According to Kanu, Isa and his squad had been attacking peaceful communities in Benue State, Northcentral Nigeria and its environs.

7. Another 255 Nigerians Return From Saudi Arabia – Official

Another batch of 255 Nigerians stranded in Saudi Arabia have been returned to the country. This was announced on Monday by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM).

The Commission in a post shared pictures of the returnees, saying that the “255 stranded Nigerians arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja via Saudi Air Flight SV3405 at about 1:00 pm local time today Monday, 29th, March 2021.”

8. Biafra: IPOB Breaks Silence On Alleged ESN Attack On Military In South East

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) led by Nnamdi Kanu has denied reports linking its Eastern Security Network (ESN) to the killing of security operatives and burning of security buildings in the southeast.

The group in a statement by its spokesperson, Emma Powerful where it denied the links, stated that ESN is after terrorists operating in the region and not against security operatives.

Microsoft and Schlumberger announced on Monday that they will expand their partnership to provide innovative technologies for the energy sector.

Google Cloud and a leading German commercial bank (Commerzbank) announced on Monday that they are expanding their collaboration to innovate new solutions for the bank’s customers.

The five years strategic collaboration will enable Google to support Commerzbank on its journey to build a cloud transformation organization and move a significant number of its banking applications to the cloud, a continuation of a comprehensive digital transformation strategy underway since 2017.
