Responsibilities as a Mobile Refrigeration Technician

Troubleshoot, diagnose, test, and repair components on transport refrigeration equipment and heaters.
Perform preventative maintenance and pre-trip unit inspections.
Create and complete detailed work orders for services and repairs.
Test systems for Freon leaks, repair and replace components requiring soldering and welding.
Utilize refrigeration equipment to test and charge systems.
Use work order history to proactively identify potential work required, minimizing unit downtime.

Qualifications to Become Mobile Refrigeration Technician

2 to 3 years of experience in transportation refrigeration and/or truck and trailer repair.
Valid Driver’s License.
Ozone Depletion certificate preferred.
Tools and toolbox or storage device.
